You’re wrong, by the way. Twilight was a pony too, and they all loved her to pieces. Anything about race or species would be just something for them to get under her skin with. They hated her as a specific individual who had done things they didn’t plan to forgive. And they didn’t see her trying to be a better person because they didn’t want her to be a better person. They wanted to keep hating her for as long as she was there to hate, and the only thing that changed in their eyes was that she was vulnerable now, easier to hurt and less likely to retaliate.
 
I don’t know how she made it through. If I were in her shoes, I’d have given up and gone bad again like they all wanted, probably long before the Sirens had even finished finding Canterlot High on Google Maps, much less showed up.

Actually, you’re more on track than @Creepermin3. Racism only applies to the separate races within a single species. This applies to different species. For example: Captian Sisko dosen’t like Ferengi (a people who aren’t human). So when Nog (a Ferengi) wanted to apply to Starfleet, Sisko was skeptical because Ferengi usually involve themselves in greed and profit. And Sisko dosen’t like most of what the Ferengi stand for. That’s an example of-uh… I’m gonna call it Specism. This involves hatred towards Sunset because she’s actually a Pony from Equestria. They hate Sunset for being a pony as much as The Sisko dosen’t trust Ferengi for being mostly comprising of some greedy mofos.
