US senators have been trying to not let WWE put on the show in Saudi Arabia because it is suspected the people in charge of Saudi Arabia recently murdered and executed a journalist in Turkey.

Both Democrats and Republicans have been trying to make WWE stop. There are even people wanting Donald Trump to intervene and that he might put a stop to it.

Yeah, WWE is in some deep shit right now. Honestly, they should just do the right thing and pull out of the deal. Reportedly, even the talent wants the show to be cancelled but management says otherwise.

I always hated when geopolitics have to interfere with entertainment

Yeah, but I’d rather not WWE do business with Saudi Arabia. They’re very shady. Also, their treatment of women is Godawful and behind the times.

100% agreed! The Saudi Propaganda & taking Blood Money from them makes WWE/Vince look like Money Whores & dirty as Heck! The Glorified Houseshow needs to be Cancelled, ruining HBK’s Retirement for something like this is absolutely Ridiclous! :o

WWE 2k19 is absolutely great. The AI is so much better now, it really does produce some great matches on CPU control. My universe mode is going really well.
 
It is the future, where humanity has colonised the stars and encountered strange new aliens… people still pay good money to see people getting bodyslammed into the mat. This is INTERGALACTIC WRESTLING!
 
My first big feud was with all apologies to James Cameron, as a alien princess from a jungle world sought to fight against the corporations oppressing her people by snatching the title belt on their biggest show (don’t question wrestle logic).  

 
She won, but the next day was beaten down by security forces and stripped of the title. She quickly enlisted help, and with a fellow warrior went up against those same security forces, with back and forth victories as they attempted to prove their dominance.  

 
They’ve just won the feud, and are preparing to go back to competing for the title. Tama did briefly and grumpily ask why she wasn’t allowed to go for the title too, since she was just as important to their victory, but Zinda reminded her that she was the higher ranking warrior and it was her right.
 
…this totally isn’t foreshadowing any future events.
 
Meanwhile, there’s a tag team title that’s just become available, so plenty of opportunities for them going forward!

I would choose Fire Pro Wrestling World over 2k19, it’s far more enjoyable & the Matches aren’t that Slowpaced! It’s the definition of Arcade/Simulation in One I would say! :) #FPWW #SpikeChunsoft

Slow paced? You clearly haven’t played 2K19, it’s a little too fast sometimes. Like the game is on fast forward, I’ve never seen wrestlers move so quickly. The creators mentioned how they had heard criticisms about the game being a little slow and plodding and made a effort to speed up the action, the cruiser weights look like they’re on rollerskates.
 
And oh, the game just gave me a truly great feud, and I experienced the wonderful joy of being a booker and seeing my wrestlers do something I wasn’t expecting. I had a Becky Lynch moment.
 
 
This is outlaw, a rogue, renegade robot, who broke her bonds and fled her masters, and now fights for self determination! (hey, I never said I was original) Big babyface, the cool rebel type, fighting against evil corporate masters.
 
 
This is Anna, a state of the art, super shiny, totally flawless new android model, sent to take Outlaw down and prove the superiority of the newer models. She was designed to be as uncanny valley as possible, with alabaster skin and some of the less well done animations, but ended up oddly charming.
 
So Anna went up against Outlaw and lost, reasonably decisively. And the next week, continued the feud by coming out after Outlaw’s match and promising that she would win next time, and warning her to prepare herself.
 
And so they had their next match, and this time she came out with her manager and creator who honestly cheated like hell. Distracting the ref, distracting Outlaw… but in the end it was for nothing. Anna lost.
 
And… she offered a handshake. And I noted that though her manager cheated, she didn’t. She played a totally fair match. And despite this Outlaw slapped her hand away, and taunted her. And Anna was left standing in the ring, spirit crushed, her manager screaming at her from ringside.
 
 
So… final fight. And it was brutal, with both girls using almost entirely strikes. And eventually, Outlaw once more gained the upper hand. Anna took three finishers without managing one of hers… and yet, kicked out of all of them.
 
Then she took another. And another. And kicked out of both. The crowd went NUTS. (After the match, it was confirmed that Anna had indeed picked up injuries to her chest and head)
 
Eventually Outlaw went for a spear, Anna dodged it, picked her up and threw her into the ringpost, Outlaw bounced back into a running poweslam from Anna…
 
One, two three, and Anna won the match. And Outlaw threw a tantrum, screaming insults as she scrambled away, leaving Anna standing tall and proud.
 
The game just pulled off a double turn! Granted Anna was, despite being a heel, given mostly positive personality traits, and Outlaw negative despite being a face (being the face of the authority and a rebel respectively) but I didn’t expect their personalities to influence their behavior so much, and the whole thing was perfectly booked!

Austin Aries actually managed to puss off the entire Wrestling Industry in a couple of years

The Austin Aries thing is a worked shoot. Reportedly they’re doing a Brian Pillman loose cannon gimmick with him.

The WWE/Saudi Stuff gets Worse & worse. They need to change the Venue, I would put it in the UK instead. :o
