I said it before, I say it again, he fit in here very well, precisely because he was a dick. And under his hyperbole, he did have a point, people here tend to be noticeably uncritical of Nintendo, just as they’re uncritical of certain other users, no matter what shit they do.

Halo, especially after Halo Wars 2, Age of Empires is their’s i think, Banjo Kazooie is one good game away from a comeback like any big nostalgia title, and Fable fans are still hungry for a 4th game,

And the funny thing is the X is putting all it’s power making the game look at top notch 4K, so much so it cuts down everything else.  
That’s why it’s frame rate is shit.
 

 
No really, if you mess with setting to display a lower quality it runs like to older models, but when in full 4K it has a lower rate.

Anyway, it might not matter soon because of Microsoft planning to call it quits on making consoles.

And it doesn’t matter. Sony acknowledged the Switch as a threat, but MS has yet to do so. Maybe they want out of the console market.

Every year someone says C____ is dead while ignoring the fact that the game industry’s biggest engine relies on it.
 
Every year someone posts about how movie theaters are dead, yet you rarely hear about direct-to-video movies that aren’t foriegn, televised, or Netflix originals.

Turns out that my PS3 isn’t broken, but has too much data on the hard drive.

Like I said a few days ago, I’m genuinely convinced that Microsoft is actively trying to kill the Xbox at this point.

PC gaming is the future. PC sales continue to climb, hardware gets better and cheaper, and it gets easier to put your own together, digital game libraries get more diverse, i.e., no steam to have a monopoly on the PC gaming market. GoG is showing that digital markets can be great and not need DRM.

I may need to get some help building a pc for gaming or just cave in just buy some expensive one :X when I move out that is.

You don’t need to spend a grand on one. You can build a modest one for around $500-$700. And if you need help with parts, I can help you there, as for building guides there are a ton, and building one is really not hard. I was imposed by it at first but after I put my PC together it felt like an accomplishment.

A custom built one, not likely. Though you can make one sort of mobile with a microATX case.

Until they can have an easy to set up, actually handheld and/or easy to move around(no, not some over priced high powered laptop), custom built means for PC gaming, it’s just another platform for gaming.  
To truly be the future it need to cover all bases, and sorry but it’s not, so that’s why people still see consoles as a good way to game.
