Pretty soft for a Sony.
@Beau Skunky
When it comes to streaming games I believe it will come down to having control of the game itself, it’s like when I argued with someone who played Fallout 4 on their console at home and I was describing to him about the fun I have with mods, while I was admitting that installing mods took some effort to get working correctly, because some mods might break things if they don’t play well with other mods and you have to pay attention to the load order, he admitted that he felt using mods was like cheating and he only plays the games how they are Supposed to be played…
But yah I think there’s also a push in the industry overall to take the responsibility away from the consumer to make sure they have all of the latest patches for their OS or their games or whatever and manage everything remotely.
It’s like they don’t trust the consumers to take care of themselves and it’s somehow better for them to trust everything to the cloud…
Something tells me that companies like Nintendo will sleep better once it becomes physically impossible for “hackers” to steal their games and pirate them online.
I was like “okay…”
Even tho I was trying to argue the issue about a single player game “who cares!”
I later found out that he’s Obsessed with high scores and how quickly you can beat a game and he wants integrity in how someone beats a game, because if he beats a game correctly, but someone else gets a bettee time than he did he would suspect them of cheating….
