Oscar Claude is an aspiring painter who decided to become a pokemon trainer so as to better seek inspiration for his art. Has the love and desire to paint anything or anyone he sees as beautiful. He actually has the goal to find and paint the pokemon Meloetta, who he has been told is a beautiful pokemon with skill and grace. He goes wherever beauty might be found, most often of breathtaking natural landscapes.
He was gifted as his starter a young female petilil by the name Chloris from his sister Sarah, who told him that if he raised the pokemon well she would grow into a very beautiful Pokemon. Oscar was not so certain but he accepted Chloris as he trusted his sister’s judgement. Before he left his sister gave him one last piece of advice, and that was to look for a sun stone. Why she did not explain but he kept that in mind as he left on his journey.
Chloris would quickly become the young painter’s muse and the trainer’s most beloved pokemon, the two encouraging each other to truly shine with beauty and to never give up no matter how challenging something appears.
My plan for his eventual team:
Lilligant, Absol*, Milotic, Gardevoir, Alolan Ninetails.

Even if Smeargle is the artist pokemon, it isn’t a very beautiful or perhaps even useful pokemon. Sure it can learn the moves of other pokemon, but that is more simply a gimmick.

Smeargle would be better if it didn’t have such garbage stats. At least give it good Defense and Special Defense so it can actually survive the attacks it’s supposed to Sketch!
