Do you find it any strange how the anime never shows any students or faculties from other classes in the school?
There’s no interaction whatsoever. I was hoping there would be an episode where they would have rivalries between classes.
Are there really other classes and students in the school and not just Professor Kukui’s and Ash’s classmates?

Even Equestria Girls sort of had more emphasis on the background and secondaries than Pokemon has in this generation.
Also, there is noticeably less characters of the day in Sun and Moon than they had in the previous generations where they were staples. But then, that was getting old and annoying, and wreaks of lazy writing.

Honestly, between the game and the anime, I find the school itself to be very small XD

It’s more like the style of later seasons, and from the announcement trailer put out back in December it looks a little like the style of Origins.
