That’s nothing new. Mark Hamill’s been involved with Scooby-Doo long before he was even in Star Wars.
I’m not exaggerating that either. Just look up the cast list for the New Scooby-Doo Movies on imdb.

Speaking of which I wonder if he’ll be in Return to Zombie Island since his character in that was one of the few to not be a monster and/or die.

Spaceworld, starring (OK, maybe “starring” is too strong a word) Tommy Wiseau.

Normal is overrated
Anyone here watch Amphibia? I enjoy the characters but find some of the slice of life episodes a little underwhelming.

When are we getting a live action remake of Song of the South?

Song of the South was already mostly live-action. Also, Disney would not dare risk courting any controversy.

The prince in that Movie was confusing
I just assumed that he was a result of a royal marriage between a European and Either African or Indian kingdom

More like a result of concocting the most ambiguous and least offensive option to pair Disney’s first black princess up with as humanly possible.

If the prince was black, people would complain about Disney being against interracial marriage. If he was white, people would complain about Disney not wanting a black prince. The other races wouldn’t really make sense unless he was from some made-up country from no discernible neck of the world, which he was. Making the prince as vague as he was was the one path they could take to offending as little an amount of people as possible.

Aladdin is also weird ethnicity wise as the characters look more Indian than middle Eastern outside of the Head Guard guy
Ironically they started added middle eastern looking characters in the TV series and the Third Movie

Heaven knows when and where Aladdin is set too. It appears to border classical Greece (323 BC), yet is visually based on Bagdad (762 AD) and appears to be Islamic (570AD).
They crossed over with Hercules. That’s roughly equivalent to Princess and the Frog crossing over with Pocahontas.

Agrabah was originally supposed to actually be Baghdad, so I’d definitely go with that area.

The Original Aladdin was actually set in China, it was seen as this exotic culture by Middle easterners at the time, more accurately it could be said what a middle Eastern Author centuries ago thought China was like from tales by travelers
