Yeah… I may or may not have just watched John Wick multiple times, and read a bunch of assassin manga… And by “may or may not”, I mean that’s exactly what happened.
(TLDR: basically, the whole crazy world of assassin’s from John Wick)
Killing, is the oldest profession in Ponykind’s long and bloody history. Barbarians, Legionaries, medieval men-at-arms, carlolians, Red coats, Minutemen, Rangers, Stormtroopers, Airborne Infantry, Air Cav, Panzer Divisions… You get the idea. Ponykind has become quite proficient at killing each other. Although, there are some out there that are a lot better at it than others…. Hitmen and Assassin’s.I should probably also say Hitwomen, so people dont scream “Patriarchy!” At me.
In 1974, decades ago now, a few unique individuals came together, pooling their money to start a chain of hotels… “Centennials”. These 5 star hotels are extremely exclusive… Members only. If you ask the average person, they’d say they haven’t a clue as to how you become a member. Which, is for the best. As far as the outside world is concerned, these are just another string of Exclusive 5 star hotels, that the 1% get to enjoy.
In reality… Every member of the Centennial is a highly skilled assassin. Both Mare and Stallion alike. These aren’t your average killers, though. They operate with class and style. They don’t wear tactical gear… They wear suits and ties, with a concealed ballistic vest. They don’t rappel from helicopters… They drive in armored sports cars and muscle cars.
A centennial hotel would provide everything an assassin would need… Suits, guns, equipment, medical aid, a place to sleep, food, etc…. But it’s all for a price, of course. And in this life, they only way to get paid… Is in blood money.
