Generally celestia is like a 2nd mother to twi. Early series twilestia is disliked for that and the very unbalanced power dynamic. Late series it’s liked more, most people ship it post s9 dynamic

Well, it’s not the same.

I see it as Twilight could get a cute crush on Celestia while she was her student, and when she stopped being her student (after she became a princess) this crush can evolve into full romance between two princesses.

For one, not everyone can live under the same roof and be happy. It’s why I feel the AJ/Rarity and Flutters/Dash don’t work in practice, due to the members of the pairs living life styles that are too different for it to work in the long term.

Another is that I also don’t care much more poly ships to begin with. Too many feels like the shipper is being indecisive rather than thinking they would be able and willing to live together like that (and be entertaining for cases where it’s a story or comic or the like).

Well yeah this is just all my fav ships put together, not quite a chart for realistic poly.
Also regardless shipping is fun, whether realistic or not :P

Hey that’s valid everyone got their own preferences and headcanons.

But to be fair irl a lot of poly people don’t all live together ? “having to live together” is one of those relationship rules that poly often doesn’t care for.

For indecisiveness, I thinkk that’s up for debate, people might have wild headcanons or just like a combo of characters together n there’s nothing really wrong with just being self indulgent imo.

That aside I agree some people put no thoughts into their ships lol but that’s not exclusive to poly ships

Yeup. Living together isn’t required. Also yeah people make the most bland ships just for the sake of pairing every male and female character lol

I feel like that runs into the same issue if it was pairing every female character with each other or every male character with each other. The problem is trying to pair everyone.
