I think it’s a likely possibility too.

I’ve been wondering if the fans who despise seasons 8 and 9, but still look forward to G5, are aware that Whitney Ralls (writer of Sunset’s Backstage Pass, who is from Equestria Girls but still), Kevin Burke (writer of The Times They Are a Changeling, Viva Las Pegasus, P.P.O.V., and Friendship University), Kim Beyer-Johnson (writer of Non-Compete Clause, Sweet and Smoky, and Rainbow Roadtrip), Nicole Dubuc (one of the showrunners for seasons 8 and 9 and writer of Shadow Play, School Daze, Marks for Effort, A Matter of Principals, School Raze - Part 1, Uprooted, Sparkle’s Seven, The Last Crusade, Daring Doubt, and The Ending of the End) and Brian Hohlfeld (writer of Surf and/or Turf, The Hearth’s Warming Club, and She’s All Yak) all wrote for Hasbro cartoons animated by Boulder and, therefore, very likely will write for G5 as well. Seriously, I’m becoming more and more sure that complaints from those kind of fans absolutely won’t change anything.

I’m curious to know what the percentage of “good” episodes on there is. Because that’s what we should be considering if that’s our G5 writing team…

Well, we’ll probably get lot of new writers in G5. So maybe we won’t worry if their possible episodes (we don’t know if they actually will be in G5) turn out to be bad because the newcomers may do great.

Brian Hohlfeld is my favorite out of all of them. He does great worldbuilding, and great heartfelt moments.

My #1 favorite episode of s8

I saw somewhere that there would be a G5-related leak coming very soon (maybe today). I don’t know if it is just a rumour or if it’ll actually happen and, since it’s almost four in the morning here in Brazil, I can’t stay up much longer to check its veracity. So… Stay tuned to see if something happens, folks!

And here’s me thinking that Hasbro would have their sacurity updated by now.

Whoever is responsible for G5’s cartoon definitely has some big shoes to fill, especially considering how successful FIM was.

Rebooting something doesn’t mean that something’s popularity declined. The first version of DC Super Hero Girls was extremely successful and it still was rebooted, even though the fans didn’t want it to happen.

it does the fact since most FIM fans would be quite awhile before we would even be here but we are now here way earlyer then we expected

I’m worried about G5. What if it’s an SJW wankfest where the writers try to show how woke they are?

Well, I’m a fan of cartoons that some people consider “SJW-like” (Steven Universe, the new She-Ra cartoon…), so I can’t give my opinion.
