I’ve compared her to Squidward a lot on that front.
It’s funny when she’s being a grump and karma gives her a dope-slap. It doesn’t work when she hasn’t done anything, so it feels like she’s being punished for existing.

Yeah. Which is why I would have liked it if they kept her meaner personality so she could keep being the butt-monkey. But character development is nice though.
At least the Mane Six weren’t as bad as Spongebob.
