Search auto-completion doesn’t work for me in both Chrome and Firefox when I enable it in settings, but it does work on tantabus.

It works for me here in Chrome. Do you have any userstyles or userscripts that are active on Derpibooru but not Tantabus, and/or are you using a different filter on each site?

Good idea, but disabling all my userscripts makes no difference. Default filter on both sites. It also doesn’t work on ponybooru.
