is it possible to add a delete image button for image posters?

this site is lacking the ability to delete images. i know it goes against everything here but have it as a option for the user. but only have it appear when it is near a certain score (i.e -50 only when in negative score) it would be a nice feature just saying.

Not only that would make people’s opinion on a certain picture null, but its abusable as hell.

true, but it would save time and resource for admins/mods to take down an image. but i digress.

This site is an archive. Nothing gets taken down unless it is illegal, or at the request of the artist.

i use filters… alot!

deviantart has a delete button.

If I want something deleted from deviantart, I just click “delete”, and it’s deleted.

Why can’t this site have that option?

because this isnt just an art-posting site, its also an archive, like PlotHole said
you can still request images be deleted in the forums if im not mistaken, and you can also request that your own art be “no post”, which will prevent most people from uploading your art to here, and will get any that get through taken down

That’s not my concern.

My concern is that, in order to delete an image I no longer want in my gallery, I have to report that image, then wait until the one who received the report deletes the image.

A “delete” button would be much simpler and faster.
