How to associate an art tag with a user

Hello, I decided to start uploading my own content here (tagged simply as artist:sufficient) and I’ve noticed that many other artist tags are associated with users, and that artwork and uploads are treated as different categories on their profile pages. Can someone explain how I can fix this? Do I need the artist badge for it? Sorry for the inconvenience

In the top right of your screen, in the dropdown, select “Links”, and follow the instructions to create a user link. You will have to place a validation code on your associated website or wait for a moderator to contact you if you don’t.
 
Once a moderator verifies that you really are the user on the linked site, he/she will verify the link, which will connect your account to your artist tag and award you an artist badge.

Fill this form /profiles/Sufficienttosay/user_links/new and put a validation code somewhere on the page, where your art can initially been found.
