Hey, it’s me again.. And my newest upload has just been taken down :( will I get a “duck” badge? I don’t want it ;-;

I shouldn’t worry about that. The duck badge is for users known for being awkward. It’s really just a warning to other users what to expect from them.

The Duck badge is for users who display long and outstanding amounts of what we call: Being a complete Butt.
 
And the Duck badge serves as a warning for other users, saying: You are speaking to a Butt. You probably shouldn’t be giving them your time or energy.
 
To earn such a badge, you need to be a really big Butt. In a bad way~

Hey, I’m eligible for the Perfect Pony Plot Provider and was wondering if any mod would be kind enough to give me it, also I’m curious as to how one gets the “Best Artist” badge? I also only upload to derpibooru, does that make my art derpibooru exclusive or how does that work???

For apply to “Best Artist Badge”, you need to have at least 5 images which the tag “derpibooru exclusive” and that reaches at least a minimum of 100 upvotes. Those images shouldn’t be edited screencaps, memes, and such.

For artwork to qualify for “Derpibooru Exclusive” it does, indeed, need to have been uploaded here First. [As in, not also uploaded on your Deviantart/tumblr/etc beforehand.]

You’re eligible for PPPP and Hard Work. Best Artist requires that you upload five or more images that you drew that get 100 or more upvotes and are exclusive to Derpibooru when released. These images must have a “Derpibooru Exclusive” tag or we must see that the images are exclusive to Derpibooru.

Woopie :3 But, can’t I just add the derpibooru exclusive tag to some of my drawings though? Because all of my drawings are technically Derpibooru exclusive. I never upload them anywhere else.

If you have not uploaded them anywhere else yourself, then yes, you can (and should) add the derpibooru exclusive tag to them.

It’s been said before, but apparently it’s worth saying again:
 
Derpibooru Exclusive still applies to pictures that have been downloaded from here and posted elsewhere such as Tumblr or E621. It only means that the artwork was posted directly to Derpibooru, and as such the original source is Derpibooru itself.

Tumblr only wants Crumbs though. images are scaled down to 1280px max width (there’s a height limit too, IDK what it is though)

And yet despite those limitations I still haven’t been able to find a theme over there that doesn’t just … break. You’d think with those kinds of restrictions they’d have rock solid “everything else”.

Pretty sure it’s, like, five. Tumblr sucks real bad with tall images, you have to download vertical orientation comics and break up the panels by hand if you want them to post at any quality higher than 10dpi.
