It’s safe to say “hnnng”, “dawww”, and any variations on those don’t need to be there mainly because they’re almost impossible to search for- you have to remember the exact number of letters in order to do it. “cute”, “adorable as fuck”, and “heart attack”, however, work well to designate varying magnitudes. Just basic cuteness can be given the “cute” tag, larger amounts of it are given “adorable as fuck”, and the ones with the highest amount are given “heart attack”. This system may be hard to write solid rules for, but honestly it seems to work just fine from user input alone so far.
I think the most upvoted and downvoted images on the site should still get their own unique tags so we can keep track of them. It is something of an accomplishment, after all. “upvotes galore”, “downvotes galore”, and “wall of faves” are also good to have around just for practical purposes. Whether any other images deserve upvote/downvote or favorite-related tags, I’m not certain. Maybe specific tags for the highest and lowest-scoring images at each safety rating?
Already went over the subjective thing. If we only wanted the site to be objective then we might as well get rid of about 75% of the existing tags, as well as the whole upvote/downvote system.
