Buggy faves

Hey, guys. I’ve found something really messed up with the fave button on some pictures. Instead of adding a picture to my favourites list, the button increases the upvote count without registering that I even upvoted the picture, and repeated presses increment the voting totals even more. I hope to see this fixed soon - I like keeping track of which images I really like, and I don’t want people getting more voting power than they should.

No new favs all day. It’s kinda annnoying. But hey, glad to see I’m not alone on this.

i was freaking out for a minute until i saw that all the stuff i faved was still favorited

Not only “fav” button, but “yay” button too.

None of my faves are showing any sign I faved them other than showing up in my faves section.

We’re aware; entire fave and voting system was gutted and replaced, things will probably still look and behave weird until Wednesday evening.

At least I can be thankful it’s not just me having this problem.

Misery loves company, it seems.
 
Well, I guess that means it’ll be a bit of waiting before I can upvote all the nice images on my watched list. On the bright side, downvotes seem to be working fine so far, although maybe I simply haven’t used them enough to notice any bugs.

Neigh button was also buggy. I used that exploit to neigh nearly every Flutterbuse image to oblivion, but it’s fixed now. Oh well, it was satisfying while it still lasted. Yes I confess to doing this. I have no shame in trying to perfect the system.
 

Were some of the scores messed up after all? >>21518 was one of the highest scoring pictures on the site. It still has the ‘upvotes galore’ and ‘wall of faves’ tags, but now it has 88 up, 0 down. and 1 fave. I know I upvoted it, but it doesn’t show up. either on the picture or in my upvote gallery.

And here are two more with mysteriously low scores (and no downvotes) - >>38152 (merged) and >>7077 (NSFW). I added the upvotes galore tag to both of these, and I’ve never tagged anything under 218.

Yeah, Clover found this issue and will run a job to fix them tomorrow. Affected several images, but fortunately not terribly widespread. And we have everything backed up, ofc.
