Obligatory disclaimer that polls are not votes, have limited predictive value - especially recently - and the only poll that matters in the end is the one we actually vote in.
BUT, while swing state polls continue to show a tight race, a couple polls slipping out of “flyover” country are piquing my idle curiosity.
First in Kansas. The Docking Institute released a poll finding Trump ahead 48.2% to 43.2% for Harris. Similarly, a poll of Nebraska’s 1st Congressional District found Trump up 48% to 43% for Harris. The latter poll found Harris leading in the 2nd Congressional District by 53% to 41%.
Now, it’s entirely possible, maybe likely that these are outlier polls. Regardless, I might tune in to see how things shake down in what has been written off as “Trump Country,” because if these numbers end up being even remotely accurate to the outcome, Donnie is in deep shit.
