Oh shit - he really DID do that! He called Richard THE DICK Cheney - the guy who wrote the book for modern authoritarian rule in the US government, the guy who literally CRAFTED the new doctrine of the “Supremely Powerful GOP POTUS, Accountable To No One” - an:

THE Dick Cheney. The guy who shot someone in the face, and when that person got out of the hospital after almost dying from a heart failure caused when one of the pellets lodged near their heart, APOLOGIZED for BEING SHOT - THAT is who Trump thinks he’s gonna go all alpha male on?

Donnie “Bone Spurs” Trump is talking shit about Dick “I’d use (torture) again in a minute” Cheney - who was more of a modern GOP candidate, role model of the modern villain, and authoritarian asshole than even NIXON was?

This is the hill Trump wants to die on? This alpha asshole who has made an entire CAREER of being the hill other people die on?

An Emerson College poll, one of the more accurate ones, put Trump and Harris in a statistical tie in Florida and Texas. And Rick Scott is only ahead by 1 single point in Florida.

In fact, Scott has never polled this low in his political career.

Republicans might be taking Florida for granted.

Meanwhile, Trump spoke for nearly an hour at Trump Tower in New York after a voluntary court appearance regarding his E. Jean Carroll trial. Not only did he repeat the denials of sexual assault that got him sued for defamation in the first place (and to which Carroll’s lawyers said “all options are on the table” now that he has continued to make them), but he spoke at length about multiple allegations from three different women.

Of accuser Jessica Leeds - who claimed that Donald groped her on an airplane in the 1970’s - he said “I know you are going to say it’s a terrible thing. But it couldn’t have happened. It didn’t happen. She would not have been the chosen one. She would not have been the chosen one.”

I just realized. Dave Rubin is on Russia’s payroll. Rubin created The New Norm Show with that money. Russia is losing their war with Ukraine so bad their economy is cratering. Russian soldiers are being told to plug their bullet wounds with tampons because the military can’t afford first aid kits anymore. But they still bankrolled Rubin’s transphobic cartoon.

I think Russia is using more money to spread disinformation online to create rifts between ordinary citizens. Propaganda is a very effective tool to create chaos and mistrust amongst people.

Russia China and North Korea have all invested in online propaganda to absurd degrees because they can’t afford to actually prepare to fight the west, as any legitimate threats will see the west force their companies to cease doing business with them and chinas entire deal is figuring out that communism can totally work as long as you sell the proletariat as slave labor to capitalists, they can’t afford the west ordering them to look for the second cheapest option,

So instead they stir up the extremists and try to alienate the center from politics because the alt right will ignore anything bad they do because authoritarianism, and the alt left will ignore it because they based their failed ideas on Marx so all their failings are capitalist propaganda,

Today and into the night the protests against Netanyahu and for a ceasefire grew to 750,000 Israelis. They are demanding that he and his government be impeached. This is THE largest mass protest in the state’s history. As one observer put it for perspective, this would be like if 22.7 million Americans all took to the streets nationwide.

The online MAGAsphere is turning its focus onto the city of Springfield, Ohio. Recently Springfield has seen an influx of a few thousand Haitian immigrants. A few weeks ago Neo-Nazis marched there to protest the Haitians’ presence. Now big Trump accounts are latching on and pushing the same rhetoric.

Libs of Tik Tok is claiming Springfield has been “overtaken,” End Wokeness is blaming the Haitians for missing pets and farm animals, and Jack Posobiec is retweeting claims that it is an “invasion.” (Full disclosure: I’m hearing all this second-hand, since I don’t care to dig through those human trash heaps’ pages).

Should educational standards be federal, so every kid in every state has an equal chance to succeed? There’s no reason kids in one state should be 1-2 grade levels behind kids in another state when both are in the same grade.

Seems something is indeed going on in the town of Springfield.

Problems like this are very common in Europe when migrants from the third world are directly transplanted into first world countries. Ethnic conflicts, crime and poverty directly imported en masse, and then in a very short time a once peaceful town becomes a no go zone when people that have no education or jobs roam the streets. This type of migration is what causes problems unlike skilled laborers migrating.
