I joke about it, but to be honest here, I feel like Silksong’s development time is pretty much in-line with a lot of games nowadays.

And even if we discount the triple-A experiences, indies are no stranger to this either. Freedom Planet 2 took 7 years to make (with the console ports needing another year and a half in the oven), and Cuphead took around 6-8 years (11-13 if you count the development of the DLC).

Eggman did nothing wrong. He just wanted to make families happy laugh and smile with his Eggmanland.
