Using A.I. for algorithms and powering video game NPCs is different than using it to generate voices and art. End of story.

I need to find a better work surface. Because every time my mouse slips off the table I use at the moment, it has, without fail, ended up falling in such a way that it closes whatever window I have open at the moment. It’s actually quite frustrating, because I’m using a separate window to input text, which I then forget to transfer to the main file, and so when that happens, I lose everything I made.

Forgot about this one. Tracy posted this right after it started looking like Twitter was going down the tubes.

Dew is just as disinterested in the movie as I am, and I’m all for it.

Ace Attorney is the hardest non-game I’ve ever played.

When I say visual novels by themselves, I mean strictly just stories with variably tasteful images and little to no dialogue and/or action choices to move said stories along to their respective conclusions with no additional gaming elements involved.

To clarify: Paying up to $60 for a glorified book.

Well, the ones I know about have something different in them: DDLC has scary secrets and fourth wall breaks, Huniepop has Candy Crush style puzzle games, and Ace Attorney is basically trying to be a lawyer. I guess I’m not exactly into that genre myself but honestly if the story is engaging I wouldn’t mind playing a Visual Novel myself.

Well, yeah, those listed have additional elements to them. DDLC, I consider an exception with the amount of content they have and the many secrets you mentioned.

But I’m talking your run-of-the-mill picture-filled story that has next to no substance beyond its identity as a visual novel.
