So I just came back from my comicbook store to buy the DMG and Monster Manual, and decided to buy a set of dice and a box of minis. The minis are what I want to talk about, because even I can tell something isn’t right.

The big grey guy is an air elemental, and the orange bat next to it a fire bat. They have a clear base, where the air genasi rogue and duergar fighter have cheap black bases. That is already suspicious, but the fact that the box says that there are 44 figurings, but the figures say 45 (it’s a little hard to tell with the black bases since their text is molded in, not painted/printed).
