I would actually be curious to see a follow up to the sequel trilogy. I’d like to see what Rey and Kylo’s kids are like, are they in training to be a new generation of Jedi? Also id be nice to give Finn a chance to actually do something.

There’s nothing to build on as the sequels are a hollow, shiny copy of the originals. They would have to set up an entirely new era, something I don’t think they are capable of.

It’s never going to happen of course so I am happy if they just stay in this time period. Tons of fun stuff to make shows about without ever needing to mention that awful trilogy ever again.

Removing the sequel trilogy from canon would be a massively stupid move on all fronts, and no amount of bitching or whining is gonna change the fact that the ST is canon and is going to STAY canon

Boba Fett had apparently become Mando S2.5 right? Like how Rebels became the next Clone Wars season?

They ever follow up on the Darksaber? As cool as Luke was he kinda stopped that resolution right on the spot.

It actually just now did it for me, like just now just now. Because it shifted from the Boba Fett show to somebody else’s show.
Is like Mandem showed up and was like “Oh hi, btw I’m the main character now”

People float the alt timeline idea ever now and again à la Zelda style but I don’t want that either even though the path to the Sequel Trilogy seems to lead to a dead end.

Unless being a Dyad causes immaculate conception I don’t recall Rey and Ben spending enough time together to have some naked fun time.

I know kissing leads to pregnancies but there’s still a few steps in-between.

I wonder if people talked about the Prequals like this after they were released? I’m certain they did.

Difference is the Prequels were in the past it’s obvious where things would go after them: into the OT.
The Sequel Trilogy ends in such a way that it’s basically the same as were the OT ends: Jedi Order’s getting rebuilt and the Republic needs to be rebuilt except this time it’ll work for sure this time guys!
And no one seems all that eager to dive into instead we’re post-Endor watching the New Republic try and be a government and Luke rebuilding the Jedi which is basically what you would get in the Post Sequel Trilogy anyway.
So it’s like why have two settings and stories that are basically the same thing going on at the same time set in two different eras?

Someone just says “Bo!” into a time mirror at the moment Palpatine made/conceived Rey, and then Rey becomes a scrap dealer on Jakku instead and marries Unkar Plutt for rations.

Luke doesn’t go full idot and problem solved. New universe.

Disney made the entire EU “legends” so why not their own movies?

The sequels are and will be canon, no amount of fan bitching will cause Disney or anyone else to suddenly retcon them out of existance or create a new “timeline”

I think more in the Prequels weren’t a dead end that’s ruin to me.
Cause I never believed the Prequel Trilogy ruined anything and I never cared if other people said that that doesn’t matter to me.
The Sequel Trilogy I feel ruined stuff and being a big mainstream movie series can’t be ignored and this current point where the shows are taking place is kinda like being on a train that’s heading to this chasm that the bridge over it is out blown apart and such and we know that’s where we’re heading and we’re just trying to enjoy the pretty scenery along the way.

is there even anything there you can fix? the prequels had a shoot exaction but left ideas you could explore in between and after the movies what in the sequels you could explore that aren’t already in the pre sequels era? the only thing there is ray and finn maybe starting the new jedi a shit but whats the point?
