Cyril Gane said he deserves Jon Jones if he won against Ngannou.
Either way I actually wanna see it tbh. Gane’s prety slick for a HW and him being Jones’ HW debut fight makes sense.
Edit: I have two minds about this fight.
I think nobody can trade with Ngannou and keep standing, but I see Gane slick and slippery enough to negate most of Ngannou’s hands and grappling.
The bum had one helluva balls to disrespect both Francis and Ciryl straight to their faces like that about Ciryl being an “easy fight” just because he beat Stipe. He has probably never seen Ciryl fight.
So wholesome for Francis defending Ciryl’s capability. They actually still cool with each other.

The beef Francis had, as he explained was mostly with the coach, and that one time when Francis just blanked Gane was, he suspected, was planned by the UFC to stir drama.
Francis said the lady who told him where to go, led him around and finally to the place where Gane and his coach was.
He said it’d be hella awkward to just greet Gane so he decided to just blank all of them.
These guys are so fast with them hands! It was close but I had Figueiredo 4 rounds out of 5. He just had more big shots and threw more in that fight but I legit was just enjoying it the entire time I didnt care who was winning.
Moreno has quite a unique stance and twitchy rhythm I love seeing him weave up and down.
Moreno clearly had the better shots and everything besides that round that he hurt him. (4th I believe…) Moreno should had that win. Like watching Volk and Holloway all over again. Judges are crap!
A bit shy these first two rounds isnt he, Ngannou?
Meanwhile Gane out there dancing throwing kicks and being active.
Still, no damage taken by Ngannou tho. He shrugged em all off.
Round 2: Ngannou flat-footed and conserving his energy. Gane peppering with strikes. A boxing combination landed for Gane. “Bon Gamin” with a ridiculous spinning heel kick but Ngannou ate it. Punch landed for Ngannou. Gane landed a heavy shot and Ngannou reciprocated with an uppercut.
It is the right thing to do for Gane to try and wear Ngannou down and get him into 4th and 5th rounds. But Ngannou has surprised us with the multiple takedowns. That can help wear him down.
