Very fun. It’s an SRPG. If you’ve played Mario + Rabbids it’s literally just like that game, but Persona. The story takes place after the events of the main game from what I gathered and at first Tactica’s story is predictable, but takes a big turn towards the end. The game mixes gunplay, melee attacks, specials and use of each character’s Persona that’s very similar to the original game’s form of gameplay. Strategical planning in each mission makes use of each of the character’s abilities, unique perks and Personas. You can also do the All-out Attack after placing units by downed enemies. There’s more to the game, but I’m just covering some of the usual SRPG stuff.

Also if you don’t mind the cute chibi artstyle and strategy RPG gameplay then this is a big recommend.

Oh I was aware of most of that. I just wondered if it played like Final Fantasy Tactics or not, since I only saw the one gameplay teaser.

Oh I see. I never played Tactics. Tactics sounds similar to the Disgaea games. It’s very similar to Mario + Rabbids in terms of gameplay. Gameplay is mainly moving your characters around freely on strategic maps and taking cover from enemy attacks over choosing and directing units where to go on grid-based tiles. Oof. I’m a huge fan of musou games. This one and the third one are way too fun. Been playing it on occasion ever since I bought it on release in 2020. They released new DLC for the game back in September last year so I’ve been more active on it. Did you get bored with it?

I wouldn’t say bored. I got a bit of a backlog going, much to my dismay. Someday, I might go back to it and plow through the rest of the story. I definitely agree with Pirate Warriors 3. Had that for both PS3 and Switch.

Oh I see. I’m exactly the same way when it comes to games. Too many of them are coming out as I’m playing one and I have the urge to try them and put the current one I’m playing off to the side. For example Tekken 8 and Granblue Fantasy: Relink are coming out very soon so I’ll be all over them.

Anyways though yes, PW4 and PW3 is just too much fun. I have the PS3 version of PW3 and mainly play as Perona.
