One of my coworkers who I was really starting to like got taken off tech schedule for apparently not showing to work one day even though she told me that she called them that she wasn’t gonna come because she was sick. Her details were kinda vague so I don’t know if that’s fully true but if it is, then that just makes me feel suspicious about my management.

That and 1. They want to see who’s desperate enough to take a lower-than-average pay, and 2. If you’re overqualified, that means there’s a chance of paying you more which they don’t want.

Seems like anyone relating to my friends have been getting the virus lately

I’m not meant to wake up early. It doesn’t suit my natural rhythm. I get home from work and I’m so tired I don’t feel like doing anything, then I get a second wind in the evening and have the most energy when I’m supposed to be getting ready to sleep.

I’m afraid i may be losing the stomach for media i find genuinely unpleasant and that makes me feel weak.
 
Because this is the internet, where everyone has seen unpleasant things and either never says such(at risk of seeming weak) or overstates how much they enjoy them.

As much as I hate a load of stuff and want to leave a permanent period on the letters of a book…
 
I wanted to blow up that college building my friend studied at with real explosives to end the haunting memories of harrassment by their staff & how they treat my friend poorly.

Among the things my mother yells at me about, forgetting to keep the shower door open(because mold) is among the worst.
 
I keep telling her it’s because we barely clean the thing (and it’s stained beyond any tool or chemical we possess to cleanse), but she just screams that i need to remember better something that doesn’t register when all i want to do is get clean.
 
And the worst part is her yelling at me to google mold and see how it grows because that will certainly prove her right.
 
Like it didn’t when i wondered aloud if one could keep a spare gas can in one’s car.
 
Up came the screams, “if you get in car crash, it will explode!”, and several hours worth of me trying to tell her that liquid gas doesn’t blow up on sizable impact alone. It needs a spark, and it’s the fumes that ignite.
 
“But no one keeps spare gas in their car!” she shrieks. So hostile to new ideas, everything must stay the same as she thinks it is and everything new is a flight of fancy safe to ignore.

I have the same kinda shit but it’s with my BOSS. Holy shit that guy only thinks the only good ideas are his ideas or ideas he has heard and agreed.
 
Not to mention my boss being a two-faced backstabber.
