Honestly it’s annoying how the counterjerk against the circlejerk of “Walter White is so cool and his bitch wife is such a nag” has turned into “Everything Walter does is evil and for his own ego, he never does anything selfless ever”

Do these people not watch the end of Season 3 and the beginning of Season 4 when he actively puts himself into harms way, risking death just to save Jesse?

Yes Walter White is an egotistic asshole but it’s a disservice to the nuance of his character to narrow him down just to that

The real big takeaway and reason not to imitate Walter White is “He is really good at cooking meth, but has literally no sense for criminal underworld politics, and only got away with it for so long because his power plays were so reckless that his adversaries assumed he was building up to something brilliant.”

Not really, he gets more underestimated most of the time

Mike didn’t expect him to be able to find Gale’s address and send Jesse to kill him
Mike also didn’t expect Walt to take his gun and kill him

Lydia and Jack’s gang didn’t expect Walt to come with a plan to kill them and thought they could just dispatch him

Your comment only really worked with Hank’s late stage plan to catch Walt when everyone thought he wanted to kill Jesse, and even so he got outplayed anyways

Gary is still a snail after all. I see him as a very capable kid who is really attached to his owner/dad.

So according to Sony insiders, Sony was never actually barred from featuring Spider-Man in any of their spin-off films, Sony just simply refused to actually use him???

That somehow makes it worse then them being told they couldn’t use Spider-Man
