To be fair America Ferrera, who played the mom character in Barbie, got nominated

But it is a crime that Margot wasn’t nominated instead because the mom was a 2nd tier supporting character at best

That being said Lily Gladstone better win Best Actress, she was amazing in Killers of the Flower Moon

If the academy gives the award to the biopic actresses then it’s a practical joke

Well ya do know the Oscars were started as a way to counter actors and directors and such from unionizing right?
Give ‘em an award so they feel valued makes it easier to take advantage of them.
