The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

I like to split up the body into three parts, chest/ribcage, mid section (smallest) and the hips/pelvis, which in construction I shape the pelvis kinda like a trapezoid, the mid section is a sphere to act as a pivot so its easy to see where the body is going, and the chest as pretty much a really simplified ribcage, kind of a bean bag shape to it. Make the shapes less rounded for males.

but that’s just amateur advice from someone who just kinda found something that worked, results will vary.

Don’t try to draw without reference, especially when you start. It’ll just look wrong.
Every artist starts with figure drawing from life. You have to get very good at that first.

You can’t just cover the entire chest up with balloon breasts and not draw anything else. God damn it.
