I mean if Thanos doesn’t go broly on whoever fights him, people will say he got nerfed/“not muh thanos”.
 
basically, they don’t want Thanos to fight smart, they want Thanos to crush things utterly.

Super competent villains are a newer invention. Keep in mind Thanos was once stopped by the New York police (after flying a helicopter), and Ultron was always a knockoff Frankenstein’s monster with a pseudo Oedipus complex.

And Ego the Living Planet was basically a joke villain in the comics (unless written by his creator, Jack Kirby).

I actually liked most of the MCU villains.
 
Except Ecelson the Elf, and the world’s most boring Kree.

It’s almost like characters are adapted to fit their change from one media to another, and that the comics themselves are constantly changing what’s canon and what isn’t.

I’m not saying they can’t. I think they did so to the film’s detriment in this case is all.

 
 

I find it silly that people complain about time-travel in Dark Souls 3 when the first game had you going into the past and besting Artorias and the Lord of the Abyss.

Daring Charming looks better as a beast.

actually an enjoyable (not groundbreaking but a good way to bide the time) movie once you get past the controversy (if you’re aware of it).
 
studio is pretty much screwed anyway if they went for “accuracy” (sure it gives a lot of actors their big breaks but it’s a massive gamble).

pretty much the whitewashing controversy got center stage that people never got to the part of “the rich can buy their way into heaven” part.
