@Hollowfox the Stallion
That’s a lot to unpack, especially because you’re getting into some issues that we have talked about a lot in the past and that involve confidentiality.
So I will send you a PM.
However, I would like to publicly state that you have never, ever, at any time been banned on this site.
And no one on this site has ever been banned for “wanting love toward the things [they] like”, except as a joke on April Fool’s day and even then it was only for a couple of minutes. Even people who literally and un-ironically love Hitler aren’t banned for their “wanting more love for Hitler”. Now, if they break our rules in trying to spread that love, then they may be banned. But they aren’t being banned for their opinions - only their actions.
I think it’s also appropriate to ask you, publicly, to
please stop complaining about others in public posts and comments. If you have some unresolved private issues with them and want to work it out with them, please use Private Messages, not public posts or comments. And if you think someone is breaking our rules or is personally attacking you (even if its via PMs) please report them - but please stop complaining about personal disagreements in this public, behind-their-back, way.
If you don’t stop, then this is the kind of thing that you might be eventually banned for. Because this kind of “throwing shade” on others is really not appropriate or welcome here.
Second, we’ve talked about this before privately, but since you’re making a public show of this I hope I’m not betraying a confidence when I ask you to please remember that you sometimes misinterpret others liking something as “hatred” toward you or things that you like.
Simply put, others liking a ship that you do not like is not “hating” the ship that you like. They simply “Like this ship.”, and may not even know that the ship you like exists. Someone else talking about how much they like the ship that they like is not any kind of personal insult toward you. They just like that ship. That’s not hatred, it’s “Like”.
Personally, I think if you could stop seeing people liking things as a form of hatred, then you might see the world as a more loving place.
I hope it will stay in the past
If you keep bringing it up, accusing others of hatred, and re-interpreting other people’s feelings instead of letting them speak for themselves, then no - it won’t stay in the past.
Because you keep bringing it forward.
Going around and calling people out by name, explaining their feelings as if you knew what they were thinking better than they are, and then defending yourself against a miscommunication that happened a year ago is a really great way to make sure this drama will never, ever, die.
PS: None of this has anything to do with “Freedom Of Speech”.
