Cherry’s Typewriter

^^^
Lazy title is…well…

But anyway. I’ve yet to draw Cherry (Or Hightide for that matter) Doing the thing they’re good at. For Cherry its writing. She’s a freelance journalist who can cover just about any topic from popular sport events to magical crime investigation. Of all of Dash’s children (If I decide to include Summer) Cherry is easily the smartest though she’ll sometimes act like a brute. There have been some awkward moments between Cherry and Rainbow Dash, when Rainbow takes time to embrace her nerdy side by entering whatever Equestria’s version of NaNoWriMo is, and asks Cherry to proof read for her…hooooh boy.

Cherry’s writing style is upfront and blunt.
She doesn’t believe in unbiased journalism, just informed journalism.

Also a quick note on the typewriter. I know that in the show they actually showed what a pony typewriter looks like. TWO BUTTONS. Right. I know its because ponies have no way of typing anything with a regular 50-something key typewriter, and that just two big fuck off buttons is probably meant to be a joke. I mean seriously do ponies type in morse code? (horse code, lol)

Or maybe ascii/binary but then one sentence is thousands of 1s and 0s.

Maybe Equestrians have a very simplified alphabet? I haven’t really given this much thought. The most discussion I’ve seen on the matter is in the comment section of this picture here: https://derpiboo.ru/563716?scope=scpedc9ad0ff67de86a94ded75cfefd491fba9d16f0a

While I do like this picture. I’m not satisfied with how Cherry is sitting in the chair. She looks like she’s sliding out of it. Hopefully the next time I draw a pone sitting in a chair, I won’t make that mistake.
