Seriously though, I am very disappointed.
 
This movie actually has a really good beginning, and a legit good build up. It has good characters, though simple they are actually very compelling, and the story is pretty legit. There is a lot of mystery going for it, yet it never gets insulting and it never throws it at your face.
 
That is, until the end, which I could say is one of the most hilariously impromptu monster reveals I have ever seen in my life. The monsters in this movie are hilarious, which is very sad because the effects are really good for the time, and the way its edited feels like they were going for a horror tone, but put together it just doesnt add up. It actually ends up looking cute rather than scary.
 
So, unless you are a hardcore fan of science fiction with giant monsters, you should skip this one.
 
And now, if you excuse me, I should take this big blob of a guy out for dinner. Poor little thing didnt know any better.
