Here when we run out of vodka we drink pure medical alcohol ;)
(but really. Happened to me once on a party. Not a very enjoyable experience. I do not recommend)
As I asked on the DeviantArt page, “Placebo Effect?”
He said in a couple other comments that standard (UK) ginger beer is non-alcoholic and that the bottle he referenced was non-alcoholic. Soooo… yeah.
Poor Octy.
Oh. Thanks for clearing it up, though a reply from Bob on DeviantArt says Octy is a lightweight. Whether that means the Ginger Beer is alcoholic or not, I don’t know.
Not even some champagne?
My mom imported something like forty bottles of European ginger beer. She’s nuts for the stuff.
Well, that depends. American Ginger Beer is an unfermented soft drink 99% of the time.
In Europe “Ginger Beer” can be the same as the American stuff or can actually be a fermented beverage made from ginger and malt… depends on which country or province you are in.
(Also, Thanks.)
Oh. I didn’t know that.
For comedic effect, would that be the suitable thing? That she’s drunk by placebo?
Right. Although there is such a thing as alcoholic ginger beer, too.
I’m guessing ‘Tavi didn’t have the alcoholic kind, though.
… I’ve had Ginger Beer. The thing is it shouldn’t even get a person drunk, right?
