500 followers.. thats something i never thought would happen. Im so joyed to know that so many people have taken a liking to Disastral.
 
Its not much of a present for 500 followers, but after i found some of my first drawings of ponies, i thought itd be interesting to show you how Ive changed over the last year by redoing some of my first drawings of Disastral. I can pump out these sketches in about 5-10 minutes, whereas these older ones sometimes took me 15+ minutes because id obsess over one detail i couldnt get right. Now, i use circles and shapes for everything when i sketch. Everything, man. Not sure if thats a bad habit.
 
One of the reasons Disastral is so bipedal is because i didnt know how to draw legs properly, so as you can see, id take the easy way out and cut off the bottom. The habit stuck (though i include her bottom half now) Youll also notice my inability to draw the front legs (I still struggle now and again with both)
 
Saying that, Ive still got a long way to go but Ive been enjoying it everyday.
