Revolt, revolt I say! At the very least they can improve the death animations those cocksmokers, instead having just one normal and one headshot, (Study Timesplitters and Turok some time, modern FPS programmers!) and remember the days of ‘expansions’ because if you add up the amount you would pay for all DLC on any game vs what you’d get for the ‘expansion’ had it been released in the mid-2000s and before, you will always come up short.  
It is a definitively bad series because of the lack of effort and loving touches that once used to be par for the course amongst 3D FPSes. Sheer lazy drives modern companies. Lazy and star-struck hollywood adoration. Why do they continually wish to follow the path of a DYING industry? Why not put the money used for A-list VAs and extravagant single-button-response 5 minute cutscenes towards making new multiplayer modes, the kind of fun crazy shit we used to have? Keep yer damn modernist rubbish!

Black Ops was the only CoD game I’ve enjoyed in recent memory other than CoD 4.

As a gamer and game development student I say let the complainers complain and let the players play. You can play the games you like and I’ll play the games I like. Sure we’ll have disagreements on what constitutes a good game but we all have different tastes in entertainment. The bottom line is if you’re having fun that’s all that counts.
