I don’t know, the older fans didn’t seem to mind the breezies, (which surprised me, sense some fans tend to complain about any toy tie-ins in the show) but not sure how they went over with the younger target audience.

Maybe if the breezies had gone over better. Though Skywishes in particular would be a hard sell, since her whole thing was discovering pegasus ponies, who aren’t exactly unknowns in the G4 world.
Yeah, I wouldn’t mind them bringing back older gen’ characters to the show. (The new TMNT show is doing that. They even brought Metalhead & Slash back.) I was happy they brought Tirek back.

Hehe I remember that one.
This is at least her second playful pony release, and she’s been released as a blind bag I think three separate times. If she’s not been in the show yet, the chances are low that’s going to change. (Which is a pity, because she was a major character in G3.)
Also, looks like Hasbro’s going for the cheaper “blister” packaging.
