It takes me about 30 minutes to read an average FoE, PH, or MN7 chapter, so I love the longer length chapters. Short chapters just always feel like they are ending too soon.
yeah, and I’ve heard how great murky is from other people, too.
but… jesus christ, 800k words and going?
there’s just no way I’m ever going to commit to reading something that long.
…well, Pink Eyes is good, no doubt about it, and deserves it’s place, although… not very good. It’s merits rely more or less solely on it’s , and let me drop my hat at this, exquisite protagonist.
Murky? It’s a huge thing, of course. But it’s… gosh. I feel like it’s the most well-written of all the spin-offs. And this is coming from a person that fanatically defends Project Horizons, mind you. For me, at least, I barely noticed the length. It just gripped my attention and swept by.
but Pink Eyes is only 130K words long, and it doesn’t even have a single chapter over 10k words!
it’s also one of the only other foe fics I’ve read, partially because of that.
why can’t more be like that?
and it turned out that was a neat thing to have.
also, it IS a fallout crossover. and those games are a journey
…actually, that’s the way I feel about a lot of FOE fics. What is it about FOE fics and being 200k+ words long?
