You know that actually makes sense. As Sweetie Belle mentioned with her diary entry: ‘But she forgave us, and, like magic, things are good as new. That’s the kind of magic I really wanna get good at…now that I’m getting so good at the other kind.’ You could even see this as some kind of foreshadowing. Twilight also forgave Discord which made him truly realize the importance of the magic of friendship.
