Just because she doesn’t say that she only found Celestia recently doesn’t mean that she hasn’t. Yeah, she does say that she found Celestia recently, but she doesn’t directly deny it either.
By that logic, I could say you’re saying bullshit too, because she’s not directly saying that Celestia’s been with her for a while.

(Also, I cannot shake the feeling that this is not Celestia, benevolent ruler of Equestria, but Mouthpiecelestia, the pony that was used as a cheap mouthpiece for one of the stupidest “movements” I have ever seen in my entire life.

That second part of your reply though is unfounded. Nothing in what fausticorn said implies she only found her recently, nor that she was spending all that time alone and immobilized so that all she could do was think. You’re just making stuff up to make this darker then kt is.

Third… I don’t get why even tie this to the old Molestia continuity. I get having vague references to it, but to outright say “this is the real Molestia, and she spent eons with nothing but her own voice to hear”. You could have simply have had a soft reboot where Celestia was always normal, instead, it creates an uneasy atmosphere.
I mean, what about the rest of the population? Won’t Twilight be disappointed that her partner no longer has any sexual or even romantic urges towards her? Won’t her subjects confuse her when they think of her as a sexual beast?
Seems like a lot of hubbub over nothing if you ask me. Considering she was with her mother the whole or most of thr time, traveling with her and spending time with her in a way she always wanted but never got to, I wouldn’t consider it a banishing as much as a leave of absence. Luna spent 1000 years confined to a single place, possible unable to move or speak or anything, and made to watch her home move and change without her every night, and for good reason thanks to her corruption. So maybe the two could be considered more or less even now.
And besides, calling it brainwashing is like saying someone got brainwashed because they used to love going out, partying, and getting wasted every night in their college years, but 20 years later no longer do thst sort kf thing. Its called change, and it happens when people spend a long time existing.

If this was a whole new continuity, there’d be no problem, but considering that this Celestia is intended to be Molestia… Yeah… This is kinda creepy. Also, everytime I see her I think of PinkiePony’s stupid fucking bullshit, so thanks for tainting my favorite character, rich.
Also, she seems rather calm for somepony who was banished for fucking eons to dimensions beyond, what, Luna gets all the sympathy, yet Celestia is banished for so long that she completely forgets even her own personality and nobody says a thing?
Not much chance of that, he’s done with her, be it that he got tired of her himself and the idiots who complained theres little to no chance of Molestia returning. Though I do hope she still loves Twilight.
Maybe remembrance will bring with it the emotions and personality of the past~
