The thing is, it’s usually better to just respectfully disagree with others.
Maybe it does frustrates you for people to have such an opposing opinion of the alicorn leaders and/or their song…
But if you give in to contempt or hate, then you are no longer invoking the love and compassion that Celestia, Luna, and Cadence put so much effort into spreading.
Forgiveness and leniency are important lessons shown throughout the MLP generations.
@Background Pony #C4AF
Cadance kind of had her own song back in her debut episode. Well, only half of it was hers, but all of it was in her voice. Nobody doubted her singing talents.
@PonyPon
The “No Fun” bit comes in because others may get the impression one is taking the show “too seriously” (YMMV) and have completely forgotten to have fun. For some, “analysis” looks a bit too much “criticism”, which some people seem to think means they didn’t enjoy it. That may or may not be true.
@PonyPon
Not my words, mind you. I still think it’s amusing. I don’t mind overanalyzing the show myself on occasion, because it’s just fun to figure out how it all works. It’s a sure sign of an engaging world.
On the same token, I’m used to people telling me to stop because “it’s not fun”.
So yeah, it’s an amusing sort of ribbing that isn’t meant terribly seriously.
@SuperSonic15
I know how you feel. We finally get some screentime that has all four princesses in the same scene and someone calls it shit. Only the unbelievably stupid would think that.
Personally, I like this song, but it wasn’t exactly crazy-awesomazing (princess quartet aside), and it was pretty disappointing that Cadance’s and, moreso, Luna’s first singing roles were here and not in something both better and more appropriate to them individually.
@ColdhardSilver
It was a great idea to have her as an equal,not only did she have a great singing voice but her presence helped to enact a sense of trinity with the princesses especially in the flying scene.
I don’t think I noticed that…
Glad to see another Brony who loved this song.
I love this song. Granted, I didn’t like Twilight’s part in it.
You’re right. Sorry about that. I just have a strong sense of honor and loyalty to them.

Won’t argue there.
“Hated” as in they hated it, or as in “expressed awareness of flaws”?
’cause a lot of people seem to get those way too easily confused.

That’s kind of unfair.
Heh. More than once I’ve heard of the analytic community referred to as the “No Fun Parade”.
I honestly don’t care what anyone else thought. I loved it. :)
Most of the analytic community hated it.
But then again, they find all the small things to hate about this show, and then call others being idiots for not noticing all the flaws…

Wait, wait, wait, PEOPLE ACTUALLY HATED THIS SONG?! For that I say https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1FcHRGBYqbE

Sorry about that. I love them so much, anyone cruel enough to put them in Tartarus will send my anger to Chernobyl meltdown levels.
No, that’s not too vulgar, that’s too psychotic.
If I was being a little too vulgar, sorry.
That’s not a healthy reaction at all.
