At first, the walk is invigorating. Twilight walks down the path, her mind free and clear of unhappiness. She looks at the gradually thickening wall of trees around her. What kinds were these? Trees around Equestria were usually colorful, not black all over. Even so, she found great amusement in the thought of having discovered a new tree. She continued wandering down the path, gently humming a tune to herself.
 
Without realizing it, the walk began getting harder for her. She struggled slightly to move her muscles, and the light sifting through the trees began to fade. Thinking she was too far down the path, she tries running out of the path, only to reveal her efforts to be in vain. The darkness began engulfing her, it got gradually harder for her to run the wall of tress around her gradually got thicker, and… What was that? What was that strange crunching sound behind her? Cautiously turning her head, she noticed nothing behind her. Was that… was that in her head? Or was there…
 
Finally beginning to calm down, she decides to light the path with her horn… Only to find out her horn no longer worked. What happened to her magic?! She tried moving again, now finding it impossible to move her legs without a sharp sting. And, once again, she heard a crunching sound. She tried turning her neck, only to be unable to, due to the pain. The crunching behind her got louder and louder, frightening her even more with each step. As soon as it sounded like it was behind her, she screamed, desperate to get away from there.
 

 
Twilight lay on the floor, waving her legs around rapidly. She screamed incredibly weakly, her throat mostly dehydrated from screaming for a long bout of time. Rainbow Dash and Pinkie only stared in amazement.
 
“…Oooon second thought, let’s not try that weird type of acid you brought.” Rainbow said, pushing the pink balloon shaped tablet away from her.
