Huh. Guess the animating team got their collective shit together and decided to look for a base instead of just uing a generic guitar. Props to them.

Actually, the thing I’m more surprised about, regarding that guitar is the fact there is only 1 pick-up. Seriously? Only one pick-up? I’m also curious what the third knob on the guitar is for. There’s clearly a tone and volume knob, but I was under the impression that three or more knobs were for individual pick-up volume, which doesn’t make sense considering there’s clearly only one pick-up.  
…Okay, I’m thinking way too much into this. This is Equestria Girls, not meant to be an accurate representation of a guitar.

Not all Electric guitars have a pick guard. My own one, for example (Ibanez GRG170DX), has no such thing on it. However, my Yamaha guitar which is a few years older does.
