Hopefully this will allow them to canonize Surprise as a certain Wonderbolt we’ve seen.
Also, since they are both confirmed Wonderbolts (and to a lesser extent, both have “fire” in their names), I’m all for the fanon that Firefly is Spitfire’s ancestor.
The entire time I was like “How did Soarin’ and Spitfire do this?”
Yeah, kinda wish Firefly was the mom instead the general, but I can see how this fits too. G1 was more of ancestry.

On an irrelevant note, I caught Firefly’s name being dropped as the General who founded the Wonderbolts. Somepony needs to call Lauren and ask her what she thinks of that.
Dash makes fun of Twilight for “singing whole arias when she freaks out about tests”. A reference to that episode wwhere she does exactly that.
