Yeah, Helvetica is not a common font among Windows PCs. Arial is chosen in its stead back in Windows 3.1 because it was designed from the get-go since it was more readable at various screen resolutions. (Electronic readability, incidentally, is one of the reasons Comic Sans is used in computing.) Helvetica is usually purchased separately, and variants are available in packs by Adobe.

Windows doesn’t normally have Helvetica installed.  
It uses Arial instead.  
Actually, more a combination of Verdana, Arial, Calibri and Segoe UI, but whatever.
