I’m not entirely sure that she’d react well to everything she saw.
There’s a lot of in-universe context to consider though. The ponies don’t have complex layers of security and suspecion and verification and blahblahblah that we insist on in our society.
They just trust Luna, one of their goddesses, even after what she’s done in the past, and that’s all there is to it, I guess.
Meh, if Luna was on Earth and started do dreamwalking spree, I somewhat doubt we will approve of that, regardless of how wise, cautious, tactful, compassionate she is. Especially parents.
(May be only if Luna was contracted psychologue, person asked for prof. help, and patient confidentiality.)
How do you will like if some “good Samaritan” started read e-mails and private messages on Facebook of all users, and edit those messages “for help”?
Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle are delighted, grateful, happy, relieved, etc. with Luna’s help in their dreams, and likely this is a shared attitude among the population.
If the NSA was a single wise, cautious, tactful, compassionate goddess, it wouldn’t be so bad.
Probably why the first thing Luna did was tell Applebloom to figure it out for herself. Still, it was nice seeing Luna appear in the flesh to help out.
Don’t you hate it when get up and start getting ready and you eventually realize you’re actually doing it all in a dream and now you’re late?
Heh, that brings up a twist prophecy interpretation: Twilight’s cutie mark is a group of stars. She helped Luna ‘escape’ Nightmare Moon both by purging her with the Elements…and by helping with her public image. So thus, multiple meanings of ‘The stars shall aid in her escape.’
Like all crackpot theory’s I reject that one instantly. She probably does it for everyone which is why I don’t live in equestria… Luna makes the NSA look tame - At least the NSA can’t see your thoughts (yet) :P
I rather liked Luna’s voice in this episode.
There’s a crackpot theory in there somewhere. Rarity as a descendant of Luna. Which would mean Luna was caring for her many-times-great-granddaughters.
Most glaring is in this scene, but I think they did that because Rarity was in the ep as well and they didn’t want them to sound too alike
