Hello Everypony!
 
I decided to get back into following this (sort of?) storyline. The diaper model has also been updated with frills on each leg hole. With the generous guide from ae6b9, I managed to create the frills with ease (Thanks!).
 
I’ve gotten quite a few requests for wet and messy diapers too, and those will definitely come in the future. I’m still finishing the texturing with this one.
 
Others have also commented on how to improve the shape of the diaper as well, which is what I’ll be working on tomorrow.
 
For now, here’s the model download, along with the SFM/Gmod files and blender project file.
 
I also got the ball gag and cuffs from another model pack(not mine), which you can find here.

No problem, I like being able to help others with things like this. A lot of this stuff I wished someone could have told me when I was first starting out. I’m glad to help.
 
Also, one other thing. You should take a look at some of these videos. They’re about topology and should be pretty useful in helping keep your meshes clean. You should definitely watch at least the first one. It talks about tris, quads, poles and N-Gons and how/when/why to use them. It may be long but topology is really important, especially when you’re modeling things meant for games and animations.

Thanks for the detailed explanation. Yes some areas were more detailed than others, since I made some parts bigger in the UV editor, so that more of the space available was used. Ctrl-A did fix the issue though. And the video was very informative. :)
 
Also just a quick thanks for taking the time to write these descriptions. Your comments often touch upon issues I hadn’t even noticed, as well as how to fix them, which is awesome.

You should add another seam around the inside of the tail hole. It looks like you intended to separate them, but the back left/right are connected to the inside parts. Add the seam around the tail hole so that it’s near the top but not easily visible with the frills. It’ll reduce some of the stretching on your UV map. You also might want to remove the seam splitting the left/right sides. It’s up to you really. It’ll create a bit more stretching, but it’ll eliminate the seam in the texture running down the back too.
 
There’s a couple things you can do to see if your unwrap is stretched. In the UV Editor, on the properties tab to the left, (n if it’s not there) at the bottom there’s a check box labeled ‘stretch’. Angle will show how accurately the angles of the faces are in relation to the model, and area will show how accurate the area of each face is in relation to the others. Another way to see it is to create a UV grid texture and look at that on the model. The squares will be a clear indicator of any stretching.
 
Getting rid of stretching can be pretty important. If you’re planning to have a detailed texture with designs and things on them, you’ll definitely want to make sure you have minimal stretching. But you also want to have as few seams as possible, so you need to balance the two (what you have is just fine).
 
You also have some minor texture scaling issues (I think that’s what it’s called). Equal texture scaling is basically the idea that all your sections should occupy the same relative texture space. So, you don’t want one area to be higher resolution than another. To fix this, just select everything in the UV editor and hit ctrl+a.
 
This video goes over pretty much everything I just said. Most of it you probably know already, but there’s some really useful information in it. I’d also recommend taking a look at the other tutorials on that site.

I was having repeated trouble with publishing it anyway. I also didn’t want to publish it under my personal account, so I had to make a new Steam account that I had to keep switching back and forth between, which ended up becoming quite a hassle.
 
I give the blender/obj/source files out so people can take this model and tweak it however they like, so feel free to upload it. Just make sure to credit me somewhere :P
