It is important to note, that analytical psychology was never used on any of the real killers except by the end.
 
The game notes that these powers aren’t hard evidence and no case has been solved with those methods alone. The game series has always had a very loose interpretation on the law system, because real life court is a dry, by the numbers system meant to reduce drama as humanly possible.

You know, in-universe, that was probably the lamest power yet. What would have happened if she had just been stonewalled out of conducting impromptu therapy sessions in the middle of court? Or if the person in question just refused to admit that was what was causing the discord?
