I’ve seen some of those comments, including the first one to which I responded “Even if I love Rarijack and hate Appledash, I’m not downvoting this image. My downvotes go to any image that is poorly drawn or done.”

I agree with you 100% on this point. I’m not saying that about all Rarijack fans either. And I am as positive about the majority of Rarijack shippers as you are, as I am part of that majority.

I agree with you on that, too. I hate those types of shippers. They make the sane ones look bad. In fact, those rabid shippers and their comments, including the ones you showed me (as well as images like >>547318 and >>546619), make all the sane Rarijack fans look bad, and they make me ashamed of myself as a Rarijack fan, especially right now.
 
And not only are they disrespecting other AJ/Rarity ships, but I feel that they are disrespecting Rarijack and its fans as well, especially if some of the fans support other AJ/Rarity ships that exist.

I’ll respect it more and give more credence to your argument, if almost all the comments against appledash on appledash pics weren’t about bloody Rarijack.
 
Mind you, I agree with your point and I kinda meant it in a general sense - AppleDash on fimfic, bam, downvotes. No matter the source. It’s just, these days, there’s one particular camp that’s rather vocal. Kinda makes it easy to point fingers.
 
It’s just so incredibly fucking annoying to see it everywhere.

I’m certain not all 11 downvotes are from Rarijack fans. Have you thought of the Twidash fans? What about the fans of SoarinDash? Carajack? The rest of the heterosexual AJ/Dash ships? FlutterDash? PinkieDash. Twijack? Appleshy? Some of those fans could be responsible for those downvotes as well.
 
There’s a reason this AppleDash image has 11 downvotes: It is because some people feel that AppleDash is overrated. I know Rarijack is overrated too. (As are some other Dash pairings.) But have you ever thought of the fact that AppleDash is more popular and has more fans, fan art, and fanfics than Rarijack (along with other Applejack/Dash ships) does? More important, have you looked at the number of images the AppleDash tag has?
 
And don’t forget the fact that rabid fans exist, not just in the Rariajck fanbase, but in those of all of the other pairings, including AppleDash.
 
So stop judging the Rarijack fanbase by any of rabid fans. Not all Rarijack fans are like that. I’m not. And stop singling out Rarijack as the only pairing whose fans downvote AppleDash anything. It’s no better than what those rabid “butthurt” Rarijack fans do (I hate that as well).
 
And yes, you are entitled to your opinions and shippings as I am to mine. And I respect yours.

I am an fan of Rarijack, but I also like Appledash and threesomes are even more awesome!

More indication of Best Pony Status; AJ can ship equally well with people as wildly different as Rarity and Rainbow Dash.
