I forgot to mention what King Sombra gave. He gives Solar Flare.

Lets see, there’s going to have to be a progression here just like any normal Megaman game. Each enemy is holding one of twilight’s friends who gives her powers afterwards.
 
Shadow Bolt is first and it rewards twilight with Rainbow Twister.  
Rainbow Twister is effective against Gilda giving her Kindness Gun [shoots hearts].  
Kindness Gun takes out Discord who gives Chaos Blast.  
Chaos Blast takes out Trixie in one shot giving Twilight, Diamond Blaster.  
Diamond Blaster is effective against Sunset Shimmer who gives Apple Buck.  
Apple Buck deals more damage to Nightmare Moon who gives Party Cannon.  
Party Cannon takes out Crystalis giving Love Shield.  
Love Shield takes out King Sombra.
 
This unlocks the final boss. Who, well you have to get there to find out.
